On March 25, the Board of Directors of the Chinese Club of Western New York (CCWNY) held its regular meeting online. All ten board members were in attendance, where they reviewed updates on the organization’s recent activities and community affairs, and discussed plans for the next phase of work.
During the meeting, board members exchanged views on current initiatives, community event planning, and the organization’s future direction. There was a shared consensus that, in response to the community’s evolving needs, the Board should continue to refine its service mechanisms and further enhance its ability to serve the community effectively.
Regarding plans, President Zhen Liu proposed establishing a special working group to conduct a systematic evaluation of the Board’s current work and provide recommendations for improvement. The group will focus on strengthening communication with local communities across Western New York and expanding collaboration with other community organizations to further enhance the association’s social impact.
The proposal was unanimously approved by the Board following a vote. Zhen Liu, Junzhe Xu, and Libing Wu were elected to serve on the working group and will be responsible for advancing its initiatives.
The ten board members in attendance were Zhen Liu, Junzhe Xu, Beiying Liu, Mark Wu, Libing Wu, Blanche Chen, Joanna Huang, Scott Li, Yi Li, and Yang Qu.
This meeting further clarified the key priorities for the Chinese Club of Western New York in the coming phase. The Board expressed its commitment to continuing to advance its initiatives steadily and effectively, and to better serve the needs of the Western New York community.
