Chinese Youth Club will also host a celebratory event at 1:30, an hour before the performance in the atrium of the UB Center for the Arts.
Tables will be dedicated to New Year traditions for learning about the Chinese culture. Materials will be provided to make paper lanterns, chun lian (春联), Chinese knot making, as well as Chinese paper cutting in which CYC officers will assist the kids with simpler designs.
